Tyler J. Pond PA-C Psychiatry Certified

Native to Idaho Falls, Tyler is a board-certified Physician Associate specializing in psychiatry, with over seven years of experience providing compassionate, evidence-based mental health care. He earned his undergraduate degree from Brigham Young University–Idaho and began his career as a Community-Based Rehabilitation Specialist (CBRS), where he spent two years supporting individuals through recovery and community integration.

Tyler earned his postgraduate degree from Barry University in the US Virgin Islands. This experience deeply shaped his perspective. Mark Twain said it best: “Travel is fatal to prejuidce, bigotry, and narrow-mindedness, and many of our people need it sorely on these accounts. Broad, wholesome, charitable views of men and things cannot be acquired by vegetating in one little corner of the earth all one's lifetime.”

With more than 20 years of experience in mental health, Tyler brings deep insight into the challenges individuals face throughout their wellness journey. His clinical approach emphasizes collaboration, respect, and the belief that healing is best achieved through understanding each person’s unique story.

Outside of clinical practice, Tyler enjoys coaching baseball and softball, spending time with his family, and finding fulfillment in everyday life through their shared experiences. He also has a personal and professional passion for mormon culture and faith journeys, often helping clients navigate identity, spirituality, and belief transitions with empathy and openness.
